A Word of Thanks from Micha Abeles
As a rheumatologist who has been in the business for more than four decades, I want to express my thanks and gratitude to my patients. Thank you all so much for your kind reviews. I deeply and thoroughly appreciate the time you have all taken to review your experiences and services with me on social media and respected medical websites.
I would not have been this successful had it not been for my role model and dear friend, Dr. Frederick Wolfe, of the University of Kansas. As a fellow rheumatologist, this incredibly bright, prolific, and outstanding individual has worked with me for several years on a variety of research papers. Most fondly, I remember us working together on “The American College of Rheumatology 1990 Criteria for the Classification of Fibromyalgia.” Our team did fantastic work that changed the landscape of rheumatology forever.
Over the years, my love for rheumatology has continued to grow. There are so many interesting and complex problems to solve. From understanding the mysterious causes of fibromyalgia to making breakthrough landmarks in lupus research, there are a plethora of ailments that need to be researched and treated among patients. I love helping people, and bringing relief to their pain and putting a spring back into their step brings me sheer joy.
Again, thank you for your kind words. If you’re reading this and you would like to make an appointment with me, please don’t hesitate to call my office in Meriden, Connecticut at (203) 235-6402.
